🚀 Mankind Pharma's Bold Move: Acquiring Bharat Serums and Vaccines for Rs 13,630 Crore 🚀Mankind Pharma is making its largest acquisition yet by acquiring Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV) at an enterprise value of Rs 13,630 crore. This strategic move aims to replicate their past M&A successes and solidify their position in the Indian healthcare market. 🌟🩺 Why BSV? BSV is a leading player in women's health, particularly in fertility and critical care. With a robust product portfolio and dominant market share, BSV aligns with Mankind Pharma's strategic focus on chronic therapeutic and consumer products. Additionally, BSV's sales growth of 17% per annum and an adjusted profit margin of 28% make it an excellent addition to Mankind Pharma's portfolio.💡 Strategic Synergies Leveraging its extensive sales network, Mankind Pharma is poised to scale BSV's business, further establishing itself as a market leader in the women’s health and fertility segment. This acquisition is set to enhance profitability, with the combined entity’s FY24 pro-forma EBITDA margin pegged at 25.2%.📊 Financial Considerations While the acquisition involves significant investment, Mankind Pharma has taken steps to mitigate financial risks. The company aims to reduce net debt/EBITDA to less than two times by FY26 and anticipates that the acquisition will add to net earnings from the second full year onwards.🔍 Track Record and Future Opportunities Mankind Pharma's successful acquisitions from Panacea Biotec and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories have set a strong precedent. BSV offers exciting opportunities, including a pipeline covering 12 of the top 15 infertility drugs and a specialized R&D tech platform. This acquisition will help fill portfolio gaps and strengthen Mankind Pharma's presence in women’s health therapies. As Mankind Pharma embarks on this new chapter, effective execution will be crucial. Stay tuned for updates as they integrate BSV and drive continued growth and innovation in the healthcare sector.#MankindPharma #Healthcare #Acquisition #PharmaIndustry #WomensHealth #Innovation #Growth #BusinessStrategy #MergersAndAcquisitions

Eli Lilly and Company launch #lillydirect . Not the first vertically integrated direct play from a manufacturer, but it is the first with a huge blockbuster behind it. The ways this will transform US healthcare, if successful, cannot be understated. Possibly this year’s most disruptive program…and we aren’t even done with the first week! Looking forward to everything else coming in 2024. #telemedicine #digitalhealth #weightloss Capgemini Life Sciences and Healthcare

“Reimagine medicine to improve and extend lives” ❤️The field of medicine is constantly evolving, and it is important for us to reimagine the possibilities beyond traditional chemical compounds and gene therapies. The holistic approach to healing is gaining momentum, and it is our moral obligation to ensure that the best treatments are accessible and affordable for everyone.I am eagerly looking forward to contributing to Novartis and other pharmaceutical companies by utilizing the innovative ZIPPYAR tech. Rather than using it solely for competitive advantage, I believe it can be a powerful tool to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs). By focusing on helping patients access the best treatments in affordable ways, providing them with educational resources, promoting medication adherence, and actively seeking their feedback to improve treatment quality, we are not only supporting HCPs but also fostering meaningful connections with them.#digitalhealth #biotech #pharmaceutical #healthcare

Bridging Innovations: The Synergy of Digital and Portfolio Transformation in HealthcareIn the span of my career, I've navigated the challenging yet rewarding paths of innovation, strategic portfolio management, and the unwavering commitment to enhancing patient care. My journey, which has taken me from the vibrant front lines of sales to the strategic echelons of business development, has been defined by a dedication to not just anticipate the future of healthcare, but to actively shape it.Currently, as the leader of the Specialty care at Swixx BioPharma in Almaty, Kazakhstan, I've had the distinct opportunity to focus on pivotal areas like oncology, immunology, and rare diseases. Our mission is clear: forge meaningful partnerships with pharmaceutical giants like Eli Lilly to deliver groundbreaking treatments to those in need. This role has not just been about leadership; it's been about vision, about seeing beyond the horizon to the next innovation that will redefine patient care.Reflecting on my tenure as the Omnichannel Lead for Sanofi, I'm reminded of the profound similarities between digital transformation and portfolio transformation. Both are about evolution, about moving from what is to what can be. At Sanofi, leading digital transformation efforts wasn't just about integrating new technologies; it was about fundamentally changing how we connected with healthcare professionals and patients. But what truly links digital and portfolio transformation is the mindset they require. Both demand a willingness to embrace change, to challenge the status quo, and to relentlessly pursue improvement. Whether it's leveraging VeevaCRM to enhance team efficiency, launching patient supprot program or driving partnerships that bring novel treatments to the market, the core objective remains the same: make a tangible difference, make this shift happen. As I continue on this journey, I am driven by the belief that the intersection of digital transformation and strategic portfolio management is where true healthcare innovation lies. It's a space where we can not only predict the future of patient care but also have a hand in creating it.I am proud of what we have accomplished so far and excited for what the future holds. #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalTransformation #PortfolioManagement #PatientCare #Leadership #StrategicPartnerships

I’m excited to announce that we were just named a finalist for the Partnership Award. In partnership with Scott Tinkel and Craig Neverosky at Takeda and with Vaya Group, we designed and delivered a highly successful first-line leader program. The 12-month program helped elevate the skills of first-line sales leaders from good to great. We blended together in-person experiential workshops, virtual group coaching, and our digital system of pull-through to create a program that:-> was delivered largely in the flow of work-> reinforced learning in an ongoing way-> delivered measurable behavior change-> is highly replicable and affordable 🤓Already, the program has generated impressive results:->83% of leaders showed significant improvement in leadership performance (as evaluated by their supervisor).-> Qualitative feedback from supervisors indicates strong improvements in self-awareness, confidence, strategic thinking, communication skills, and more.-> The program’s NPS was 84 from participants & 100 from participants’ leaders.#leadershipdevelopmentP.S. More detail to come in a forthcoming Forbes article, as well as at LTEN Conference where Takeda will present a detailed breakdown of the workshop's design & delivery.
