http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Area_of_effect The above link does not identify Reave as an AoE skill. It does list ground slam, cleave, etc. If Reave is in fact an AoE skill, I'm assuming it benefits from AoE nodes such as the 3 near the Scion "Area of Effect Radius". Has anyone tried +AoE with Reave? How is it, if it works. Thank you |

" yes its 1 kind of aoe - as more you hit how bigger the aoe become, its very cool skill :P |

" Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I use the skill. I'm level 75. Crit dagger build. I'm thinking it may be beneficial to sink a point or two into the +AoE nodes near my Scion starting location. I'm only hesitant because the skill itself is not identified as a skill that is affected by AoE, according to the wiki. |

" http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Reave The wiki usually doesn't mention whether or not things work as normal. It will only list exceptions to the norm. So if it doesn't mention increased AoE that means it works normally. |

I recall using Increased AoE and Reduced AoE gems successfully with Reave before, so I'm quite certain that it will scale from all 'area damage' effects. |

dude, why not have a look at the skillgem itself? does it say "aoe" in the top line? yes! wow... ;) p.s.: you can edit that wiki and add reave to the aoe-section :D "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche |

" True Is anyone able to speak to how effect 10, 20 or even 30% increased AoE would be, at the cost of 1,2 and 3 skill points respectively? I know I could always sink the pts in, but that will cost a few Regret orbs...would rather not waste. thx |

It works, and not only that, but concentrated effect does increase your DPS dramatically. Concentrated effect is like multistrike to an extent with how you lose some AoE radius (melee physical damage), but you gain a lot of area damage (attack speed). It is best gem for an AoE skill, when your AoE radius is already massive, especially Reave. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. |

" The skillgem tags are not a precise authority. For example, Lightning Arrow is tagged as AoE. Area radius bonuses will affect it, but not area damage. That is why the original poster wanted to ask and make sure that Reave deals area damage and has an AoE radius. Need game info?
